Pandemic Response
The OUTreach Center is committed to the safety of our community and the community at large. We have been following CDC, state, and county guidance. As businesses open, we continue to examine what is our appropriate response to the pandemic. For several months, we have been completely closed and have encouraged groups to be active online, especially through our Facebook Groups. However, we currently see the need for extended precautions that will continue to impact our programs.
- The building is closed to most group activities.
- Small groups may use the building, following these guidelines:
- One of the rooms may be occupied at a time.
- Five (5) people maximum in the building if the primary room is the Meeting room.
- Eight (8) people maximum in the building if the primary room is the Front room.
- The back restrooms are closed. The only restroom that may be used is one in the hall.
- One of the rooms may be occupied at a time.
- In addition to normal closing procedures (emptying trash, cleaning up, etc), the keyholder that opens the building is responsible for sanitizing the space after it's use according to these measurers:
- Mix a fresh batch of sanitizer (this sanitizer only remains effective for 24 hours after being mixed, so it must be made fresh daily). See a video below for instructions.
- Use the sanitizer on the following surfaces:
- door knobs,
- any tables used,
- the refrigerator handle,
- bathroom and kitchen sinks,
- toilet knobs.
